It’s patio season and this Mojito recipe is awesome with a shot of rum!

Make sure you give your berries a little squeeze before you put them into your second ferment so the water kefir can penetrate the entire berry and make sure you eat the probiotic rich berries after you strain the soda.

Your gut will love you.

BLUEBERRY LIME MINT

Water Kefir Soda Recipe

Make the first ferment and leave the jar in a warm place for 24-48 hours.

Strain the grains and add the following to your second ferment.

1/4 cup Blueberries fresh or frozen and pinched

1/4 cup Lime juice

5 leaves fresh mint leaves pinched

Add to the green swivel top bottle with the first ferment water kefir.

Seal up the green swivel top bottle and leave it in a warm place for 24 hours for the second ferment.

Open slowly, strain and enjoy!

Refrigerate immediately and it can last there for up to 8 weeks before it turns to vinegar.
