Blueberry Pineapple Ginger Water Kefir Soda Recipe

Not only are blueberries and pineapple a tasty combination they are also very good for you. Both of these fruits are loaded with nutrients to help you reach optimal health. Add ginger to this recipe for an extra flavour zing.

BLUEBERRY PINEAPPLE GINGER RECIPE

MAKES: about 4 cups

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups first ferment

1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1/4 cup fresh pineapple chunks or juice

5-10 pieces fresh or candied ginger pieces

INSTRUCTIONS:

Make the first ferment and leave the jar in a warm place for 24-48 hours.

Strain the grains and add the ingredients to your second ferment.

Seal up the swivel top bottle and leave it in a warm place for 24 hours for the second ferment.

Open slowly, strain and enjoy!

Refrigerate immediately. It can last there for up to 8 weeks before it turns to vinegar.
