Sweet grape and spicy ginger mingle beautifully in this mouthwatering water kefir soda.
3-5 slices of fresh ginger root, cut thinly to fit in the neck of a bottle
1/2 cup Welch’s grape juice
4 cups first ferment water kefir
Make the first ferment and leave the jar in a warm place for 24-48 hours.
Add ginger slices to a swivel top bottle, and then add grape juice using a funnel.
Strain grains, and add the first ferment to the bottle with the ginger and grape juice.
Seal up the swivel top bottle, and leave it in a warm place for 24 hours for the second ferment.
Refrigerate until well chilled.
Open slowly, strain and enjoy!
