Honey, lemon and ginger are the perfect combination to give your immune system a boost.
Honey Lemon Ginger Immunity Smoothie
MAKES: about 2 cups
2 tbsp raw honey
1-2 tbsp fresh grated ginger (or 1/2 tsp ground)
3/4 tsp ground turmeric (1tbsp fresh grated)
1 cup loose spinach
1 cup first ferment water kefir
1/2 fresh squeezed lemon
5 chunks frozen pineapple
Optional: add protein powder of your choice
For thickness add 1 cup ice.
- Make your first ferment water kefir.
- Add all ingredients into the blender.
