This recipe is genuinely one of my most favorite water kefir soda recipes! The freshness of the strawberries and the lingering basil flavor always leaves me longing for more. Let me know how you like it.
Water Kefir Soda Recipe
Make the first ferment and leave the jar in a warm place for 24-48 hours.
Strain the grains and add the following to your second ferment.
1/4 cup Strawberries
4 Leaves fresh basil or 1 drop doTerra Basil Essential Oil
Add to the green swivel top bottle with the first ferment water kefir.
Seal up the green swivel top bottle and leave it in a warm place for 24 hours for the second ferment.
Open slowly, strain and enjoy!
Refrigerate immediately and it can last there for up to 8 weeks before it turns to vinegar.
