Fall is such an exciting time in the world of Water Kefir Soda and this warming Spiced Pear and Vanilla Soda is decadent! There are so many fruits and herbs to experiment with when it comes to making interesting flavor combinations. I’m having a tough time containing myself because I have so many exciting recipes to share with you!
Since Water Kefir is rich in over 30 billion strains of LIVE probiotics, magnesium, B12, enzymes and electrolytes, it helps boost our immune systems by repopulating our guts with good bacteria. This supports proper digestion and warns off harmful bacteria and viruses.
Known for their super immune boosting properties and longtime remedy for nausea, pears are high in fiber, phytonutrients, vitamin C, vitamin K and copper. They are very helpful for any skin conditions like psoriasis, acne or dermatitis. They also provide us with antioxidants and are anti inflammatory thus helping decrease chronic inflammation. The following recipe is can be used with pears that are fresh, frozen or you can purchase pear juice in the grocery store.
WARM SPICED PEAR AND VANILLA WATER KEFIR SODA
1 fresh pear or 1/4 cup pear juice
1/2 tsp vanilla or 2 inches vanilla bean
5 pieces candied ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Add ingredients to your Happy Gut swivel top bottle, clasp the lid and leave it in the warmest place in your home for 24 hours. Slowly open and ENJOY! Make sure you eat the fermented fruit. It has beneficial fibre and over 30 strains of LIVE probiotics.
