In order for the fermentation to work, you need to leave your water kefir grains growing in the warmest place in your home.
If you have the air conditioning going in your house, the fermentation process will not take place or take place very slowly.
You don’t need to turn your air conditioning off though!
You can put your water kefir in the pantry, garage or in the oven with the light on. That way YOU won’t melt into a puddle and your water kefir will still be able to ferment.
