Apple Rosemary Water Kefir Soda Recipe

This Apple Rosemary soda recipe is a tasty and a simple way to flavor your own homemade water kefir. If you’ve been curious about making your own own homemade fermented foods or you don’t love the tangy flavour of kombucha, I highly recommend giving this water kefir recipe a try! It’s easy, fast, and super affordable to make at home.


MAKES: about 4 cups


4 cups first ferment

1/4 cup fresh pressed apple juice

2 sprigs rosemary leaves pulled off stems


  • Make the first ferment and leave the jar in a warm place for 24-48 hours.
  • Strain the grains and add the ingredients to the swivel top bottle with the first ferment water kefir.
  • Seal up the swivel top bottle and leave it in a warm place for 24 hours for the second ferment.
  • Open slowly, strain and enjoy!
