Water kefir first ferment is extremely versatile, and can be used in many impressive ways. Substitute sugary fruit juice with this naturally flavoured lemon first ferment to make a probiotic popsicle that will be a hit with the entire family.
LEMON BLUEBERRY FIRST FERMENT POPSICLE RECIPE
Yields 4, 5oz popsicles
2 1/2 cups first ferment
2 tbsp organic lemon juice
Organic, fresh blueberries (washed)
Prepare first ferment
Add 4-6 blueberries per mold
Add lemon juice to the first ferment.
Pour lemon flavoured first ferment over top the blueberries in the popcicle molds. Add popsicle sticks or covers to the mold, and place in the freezer overnight.
*Live probiotics don’t lose their effectiveness when frozen.
