Orange Rosemary Water Kefir Soda Recipe

Sweet orange and savoury rosemary create the perfect balance in this water kefir soda. Fruity and full of vitamin C, this refreshing probiotic soda is perfect to sip while you enjoy the sun.

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups first ferment water kefir

1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

2 tsp fresh rosemary

INSTRUCTIONS:

Make the first ferment and leave the jar in a warm place for 24-48 hours.

Add the orange juice to your swivel top bottle, along with rosemary.

Add first ferment water kefir

Seal up the swivel top bottle and leave it in a warm place for 24 hours for the second ferment.

Open slowly, strain and enjoy!

NEED TO KNOW:

Fresh garden rosemary, organically grown, is best. Dried rosemary can also be used, however be aware that dried herbs are more potent than the fresh alternative. We suggest using 1/2 tsp of dried rosemary for this recipe. Read about the benefits of rosemary in your diet here.
