1 cup multi-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp chai spice (or cinnamon)
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup melted butter
Begin warming a non-stick frying pan or griddle on low heat.
Mix dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry, and whisk together roughly. Batter should have lumps in it. Add more milk if it’s too thick, or more flour if it’s too wet.
Ladle batter onto a pre-warmed non-stick frying pan or griddle. Keep temperature low and cook slow- be patient so you don’t burn them!
