Celebrate the season with our festive orange, cranberry, and ginger water kefir soda bursting with colour, sparkle, and billions of probiotics.
Ingredients

4 cups first ferment
-
1 full freshly squeezed orange (or ¼ cup orange juice)

1/2 cup chopped fresh cranberries or 1/4 cup cranberry juice

1 tbsp chopped ginger

orange slice, ginger slice, fresh cranberries and a sprig of mint for garnish
Directions
Make the first ferment and leave the jar in a warm place for 24–48 hours.
Add the orange juice, chopped cranberries (or cranberry juice), and ginger into a swivel-top bottle using a funnel.
Strain the grains from your first ferment, then pour the water kefir into the bottle with the fruit and ginger.
Seal up the swivel top bottle and leave it in a warm place for 24 hours for the second ferment.
Open slowly, strain and enjoy!

Burp the bottle every 12 hours during the second ferment to prevent overflow — fruit ferments can carbonate FAST.
Fresh cranberries give more colour and antioxidants, while juice creates a smoother, sweeter ferment — both work beautifully.
