If you are looking for a delicious and healthy drink that can improve your gut health and immunity, you may want to try hibiscus water kefir soda.

This is a fermented beverage that is made by adding hibiscus petals to first ferment water kefir, which is a probiotic-rich drink produced from water kefir grains.

Hibiscus is a plant that has many health benefits, such as lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, and inflammation, as well as providing antioxidants and vitamin C. It also gives the water kefir soda a beautiful pink color and a refreshing and tangy taste.

You can easily find hibiscus in most health based stores or in the herbal tea section of any grocery store. You can either tear the teabag open and add the leaves to your water kefir recipe, or you can purchase the flowers very reasonably online at Organic Matters.

However, pregnant women should avoid drinking hibiscus drinks, as they could cause uterine contractions and induce labor prematurely. Hibiscus may also interact with some medications, so consult your doctor before consuming it if you have any medical conditions or are taking any drugs.

This refreshing water kefir soda will give your immune system a boost of over 30 billion LIVE probiotics, which are beneficial bacteria that can balance your gut flora, enhance your digestion, and protect you from infections. It will also provide you with magnesium, folate, vitamin K, electrolytes, enzymes, antioxidants and vitamin C, which are essential nutrients for your overall health and well-being.
