PEAR CARDAMOM WATER KEFIR SMOOTHIE RECIPE
MAKES: one single serving
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup first ferment water kefir
1 fresh ripe pear, core removed, skin left on, cut into chunks
1/2 fresh banana
1/4 cup non-dairy coconut yogurt (substitute plain dairy yogurt)
5 to 10 walnuts
1 tbsp maple syrup (adjust to your taste)
generous pinch ground cardamom
optional: 1 tablespoon hemp, flax or chia seeds
optional: 3 to 5 ice cubes
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender cup. Blend until smooth.
- Pour into drinking glass and lightly sprinkle with cardamom
- Drink immediately
