I wanted to leave a review after using the kit for about a week and after being treated so well by the HappyGutPro staff. We had a small issue with the courier as our delivered family sized kefir starter kit was smashed up and only about 1/3 of the order was intact. This had nothing to do with the way it was packaged but just total neglect on the courier's end. Upon receiving the package I contacted them and received a response almost immediately directly from Leeza herself! She was very understanding and immediately shipped out a replacement package free of charge (including shipping). The staff at HappyGutPro is highly recommended and their customer service is second to none. We really appreciate your integrity and value your tips and helpfulness through email. From our first attempt we have been making water kefir successfully without issue. The supplied candied ginger and sugar allowed us to flirt with water kefir and understand the process. We did use pineapple juice as recommended and have had a ton of fizz very quickly. Thank you Leeza and your amazing staff - we will be back very shortly for flavorings and extra accessories. You are highly recommended by us and we will continue to let everyone know how well we were treated even though our issue was not your fault in any way. I bought the kit June 2021. I had tried making Kombucha before, (found it took a lot of time, messy) and was nervous of making milk kefir. I also had been having some issues with diverticulitis, and was hoping the probiotics would help. I am so happy I decided to give this a try. I love this fizzy water and trying all different flavourings. I’ve experimented with coconut water and I look forward to trying it with nut milks. Water kefir taste great, better then Kombucha in my opinion and I feel like I’m doing something positive for my gut health. I haven’t had an attack since I started drinking this on a regular basis. Could be a coincidence but I don’t think so.

Absolutely perfect. The weather has been so warm that I already have 5x the grains as I started with! It is a hit in our house with candied ginger and I can't keep up with the batches lol the star system seemed off on my phone, if it is less than 5 stars it is a mistake because this kit deserves 5 stars. Everything you need to get started.

I live in Quebec. I already know water kefir. I bought these grains alive, but I was worried they would arrive in poor condition given the 7 day summer transport across Canada. However, as soon as they arrived, I immediately made a first fermentation. 24 hours later I had lots of little bubbles in my jar. I filtered and made a second fermentation. Less than 24 hours later, I have an excellent result. I am very satisfied!

I love the Root Beer flavouring! It has a delightful combination of spices that mimics a delicious glass of root beer without all of those sugars and the health benefits of kefir.

This is one of my favorite flavour combinations-so refreshing with the blueberry and lavender. My husband’s favorite is the new root beer but he is a root beer lover anyways so this is perfect for him. I know I could make my own flavourings from the great list of recipes offered on your website, but we don’t always have the best fruits and herbs in our rural store so I really appreciate these thoughtful combinations. Great job Leesa and team! Could I suggest economy sizes in the future?
