While looking for a new kombucha scoby (mine died), I came across an article explaining the difference between kombucha and kefir. I was intrigued, and watched a number of videos. I bought the starter kit, and was looking forward to the simplicity of making kefir.

I struggled and could not get the grains to ferment properly. I tried everything and finally emailed Leeza and the team at Happy Gut. They were amazing and guided me through the process, never giving up on me. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced. I am now super fizzy, and starting to experiment with different flavors.

I was talking to my son one day about healthy eating and he mentioned water kefir. I never heard of it before.
I looked online and found happygutpro.com. I was looking for a Canadian supplier and was pleased when I found the site.
I purchased the starter kit so I would have everything I needed up front.
My husband and I are enjoying the different blends of kefir that I’ve made. Shared with one of my other sons and he and his wife enjoy the pineapple juice & ginger blend.
Love the website- when I asked a question online, they were prompt and thorough in answering me.
I’ve made kumbacha before but found it over powering for me. When I read that water kefir was milder, I thought I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did.
Worth the purchase and you won’t be disappointed.

Love the fact that I could brew at home and try this kit. I am addicted now! Definitely recommend. I did get confused with the instructions for the second batch however after coming to the website I was able to find an easier explanation for the instructions.
